RRB JE Selection Process 2026

Stage 1	CBT 1 Exam	A qualifying screening test covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science.
Stage 2	CBT 2 Exam	A test covering General Awareness, Physics & Chemistry, Computer Applications, Environment & Pollution Control, and branch-specific Technical Abilities (used for the final merit list).
Stage 3	Document Verification (DV)	Verification of educational, age, and category certificates for candidates shortlisted based on the CBT 2 exam.
Stage 4	Medical Examination	A fitness test as per Railways’ prescribed medical standards before final selection.

RRB JE Medical Standards & Eye Sight Criteria

Application Fee Refund Terms

• Only candidates who appear in the 1st Stage CBT exam will be eligible for the refund of the application fee after deduction of applicable bank charges.
• If the candidate’s application is rejected, incomplete, submitted with incorrect details, or the candidate does not appear for the 1st Stage CBT, there will be no refund of the fees.
• To receive the refund successfully, candidates must confirm that their bank account information is accurate.
